This is a view of the studios from the ramp. The structures are placed evenly on a level playing field as both studios reflect elements of evolution of which the foundations are the same. Darwin's studio is placed on the datum as it's foundations begin at the start of evolution. Hawking's studio has a structure which elevates it's main body to a higher level of Darwin's to impress the advancement in technology which has taken place in the last 100 years.
As we can see in this slide, the two studios essentially have the same distant views. They have been designed like this as their focus is both towards the future and is essentially the same being that of evolution whether this happens naturally or by design of man. These views are without horizon reflecting the ongoing evolution which holds no bounds.
